***Note: this is the NSCs USA CUP Week - expect uncommonly busy parking and traffic this week*** Welcome to back to AKA Archery Week. Thanks to John "Jack" Wachlarowicz (SCV-MDHA Board of Directors & MN DNR Hunter Education Instructor) and his professional instructors and the MN DNR, this is a weeks opportunity of a lifetime for any kid!!! Not only do kids get tremendous instruction with Archery but we try to instill a greater sense of the outdoors and taking advantage of our nations parks! Featured Fieldtrip: Science Museum, St. Paul - featuring the National Parks Omni Movie attraction, Thursday, July 21. FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. There is so much activity between these hours! Time to get away and unplug from the hectic pace of life. This retreat is for youth in 8th grade through 12th grade. Fee is $100. Middle School Session: 12 pm to 2:30 pm daily Session is for participants in 7th or 8th grade as of the 2015 - 2016 school year. Participants will be divided based on age and skill level to maximize learning. On behalf of Coach Bill Dwan, Associate Head Coach of Hopkins and Coach Matt Dwan, Assistant Coach, Loyola, we are excited to partner with the Lambert High School Lacrosse Program to host our 2016 Elite Lax Camp! Due to NCAA Regulations, we are prohibited from advertising current players that will be working at the camp. The Elite Lax Camp features the TOP athletes at each position and ensure a player to coach ratio of 14 to 1 to maximize instruction. Learn from current collegiate players at the TOP of their game!! DMSA Boys & Girls Day Academy - University of North Florida
The DMSA Day Academy has established itself as North Floridas Premier Summer Soccer Day Camp. It is specifically designed to teach skills, tactics, and fundamentals of soccer. This will be accomplished by individual instruction by our highly qualified coaching staff and age-specific curriculum. The environment will emphasize fun. Composing for Video Games - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Take your creativity to the next level and learn to compose music that enhances your video gaming experience. Even if youve never tried composing before you can learn to manipulate sounds to make the action on your screen come alive. Students will use Propellerheads Reason/Record software in our portable music technology lab to compose music for existing video games as well as create music for their own game concepts and scenes. Any student currently enrolled in band, orchestra or choir is welcome to join this camp, even if you havent had any composing experience.
