Teens who will be counseling next summer (2017) or who are interested in a good time are invited to our annual Fall Teen Weekend, for 2017 it's "Fall into 4-H". The cost is $45.00 and includes everything (food/lodging/activites & fun). Get ready for great food, great activities, and quality time with some of the people you haven't seen since the summer! YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR CHAMPION CLASSES AT TPC ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 6-7PM The Champion Level Program is for players looking to expand their golf skills, improve on-course play, and, for players who may be interested, playing high school golf. The Champion Program focuses on short putting, long putting, short chipping, long chipping, pitching (high shots), pitching (low shots), posture and best routines, grip basics, club face control, driving success, iron consistency, hybrid and fairway metals and on-course strategies. Our lesson plans will go more in depth in etiquette, rules of golf, golf skills, shot making, and begin discussions for those that want to pursue local competitions. Campers learn that their bodies are miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, many thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, AND a fancy computer! They perform hands-on experiments as they learn about brains, taste buds, blood, muscles and bones, check heart rates and listen to their lungs with their very own stethoscope. Campers will extract DNA and learn about genetics, test for germs, build spinal column, ear drum and lung models.
