SEASIDE DAY CAMP A local favorite for many years, Seaside Day Camp is held at the newly renovated Scout House at Glen Park, Cardiff ?by-the-Sea. Have your child experience the local wonder of the great outdoors through Encinitas parks, trails, ocean and wild life. Teen Lifeskills Camp - Pensacola, FL
The goal of the Teen Life Skills Camp is to prepare the youth for adulthood by teaching and building upon their life skills. They will spend two days in a warm and nurturing environment learning principles of manhood, woman hood, interpersonal communication skills, problem solving skills, team work, collaboration and culture competence. This event will start off at Deliverance Tabernacle Christian Center and then the learning environment will shift to Oak Grove Park on Naval Air Station Pensacola. During the course of the 3 day, 2 night camp, they will be apart of discussions: (the young men)the role and purpose of a man, leadership, teach them how to tie a neck tie and they will receive a tie. Percussion - Band Camp 2016 - Natick High School
This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have AT LEAST ONE YEAR of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week. Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with historical information, discoveries and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! This year, Terrific Scientific will be featuring our Robotic Arm Edge kit and our 7 in 1 Solar Robot kit. In addition to these projects, campers will be learning how to solder with our blinky robot project. Our training sessions are creative and geared toward maintaining a fun yet challenging and competitive atmosphere. We understand that athletes need to not only be pushed to their limits, but they must enjoy what they are doing if they are to truly benefit from it. The program utilizes a combination of speed, acceleration, and agility drills coupled with power and strength exercises in a structured and controlled environment. These young athletes will learn and sharpen their skills in the mechanics of running, agility, and footwork, while being introduced to various pieces of speed and agility training equipment throughout the facility. Low-intensity strength training is emphasized with exercises involving the athletes own body weight, and power is developed through the application of plyometrics.
