The staff at Sandy Hill Camp is great. We noticed that they had a vast ethnicity so many children were able to find counselors that looked and talked very similar to them. We went to this camp because of its great reputation. There are so many things to do for all the kids, and they’ll make so many friends. You’ll end up having to take them back summer after summer. Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Showers, a bathhouse, and a pool are available for campers. Optional Friday night add-on to camp. (Provide your own camper or tent, payment upon arrival.) Digital scrappers and card makers welcome at all events too! Join us for Saturday only or Sunday too.

Etiquette FUNday Bootcamp - Old Trail School
A fun class for the summer to learn and catch up on all your social skills. Campers will learn all about being the perfect host from party planning and set up to how to write thank you notes. They will make their own beginner stationary kits, then make their way to the dining table and fine tune those skills from the kitchen table to fine dining. There will be a class on visual poise, introductions, telephone manners and meeting new friends. A grooming class with closet organization, nail grooming or tie tying. Plus lots more. Get ready for an amazing exploration of space. Kids will learn fun facts about the universe through hands-on activity that expand their mind. Topics include planetariums, constellations, space missions, building a satellite, lunar phases, planets, the International Space Station, tracking the Sun and how telescopes work. Grades: K - 12th Morning drop off at Lacey Park; afternoon pick up at the Hanford Teen Center. This weeks theme "Super Hero Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child.
