BSA Spirit Night - Summer Camp Fundraiser - Carrollton, TX
Boy Scouts Troop 114 is raising funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, April 7th. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! End of Summer Half Day - Lakeside Field
Join us for the 2016 Northwestern Boys Soccer Academy End-of-Summer Camp! Get your last chance to enjoy camp before the Fall season begins. Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills with technical training, compete in small sided games, and enjoy the North Shore Lakefront for Beach Soccer an hour every day! Under the supervision of Northwestern University Mens Soccer Staff and Coerver Certified coaches, your young soccer player is sure to have a great time while developing his ability on the field. 2016 Goalkeeper Premier Academy Soccer Camp - Steamboat Springs, Colorado
The Premier Goalkeeper Academy is designed with the dedicated and aspiring goalkeeper in mind. 9-Days of intense Goalkeeper training will elevate each players skills to the next level. Participants will participate within the Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 1 and then continue their development into Goalkeeper Performance Academy Session 2 and incorporating a progression of training topics and concepts. SSA staff coaches work with an attention-to-detail approach that insures maximum development. Additionally, teaching aspiring habits for total peak performance, learning new recovery and rejuvenation protocols, and how to better manage the demands of top-level athletic training and competition. Finally, off field activities will be incorporated with choices such as Paddelboarding, yoga, mountain bike ride on Steamboats Mt Werner, zip lining and more. The Premier Academy is a 100% residential camp. Campers stay at the Colorado Mountain College campus in the dorms each night. Sea Perch Robotics - Middle School
This exciting new offering will coordinate with the Webb Institute. Located in Glen Cove, the Webb Institute is a private engineering college, offering a dual major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Participants in the Sea Perch Program will build an underwater robot. The completed the robots will then be brought to Webb Institute for a day of in-water testing and head-to-head competitions that determine how well the robots were constructed and how well the human operators can control their custom-built submersible seacraft. Animation and Computer Programming - Orchard Hills School
Have you ever wondered how to speak "computer"? Do you like to draw your own cartoon or anime characters and create imaginative stories? This summer you will learn to communicate your imaginative ideas from your brain to a computers digital brain. Through use of Scratch.mit.edu you will learn how to make interactive cartoon characters, animate short stories, and design your very own computer game. No programming experience is necessary.
