My son loved Camp Broad Rock. There was a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for my 12 year old son to choose from at this camp. This camp is for children from preschool through grade 12. Unlike other camps, Camp Broad Rock has an indoor aquatic center. My son was excited to know he could swim regardless of what the weather was like outdoors. Campers will learn to kayak, row, dragon boat, stand up paddleboard, RC sailboat control, and powerboat safety. 3 sessions are offered to meet the needs of your family: Week 1: December 19 - 22 Week 2: December 27 - 30 Week 3: January 3 - 6 Camp runs from 9AM to noon each day Ages 10 to 18 $120 for a one week session (Before and after care are available for an additional fee) Each day your child will receive morning instruction on land before going on the water. Campers must wear sandals with heel straps, dress in layers, bring a healthy snack, water bottle, hat and SUNSCREEN. Certain age restrictions apply for boaters safety course. Farm to Table (ages 6-12) - Connolly Ranch
Brings your young epicureans enthusiasm for all things cooking back to the source of the ingredients: land, soil, seeds, animals, plants and more. Campers will explore how to grow and cook a farm-fresh meal from the ground up using ingredients that are in season and locally grown in the Napa Valley. After getting their hands dirty learning how animals, soil, water and the sun work together to produce food for our tables, kids will wash up and commence cooking. Nothing tastes better than a meal that is freshly harvested out of the ground. Each week, a local chef will visit to share knowledge about farm-to-table cooking. Weekly High School Pitching Camp 2 - Kennesaw State University (Stillwell Stadium)
The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly pitching camp this Fall/Winter. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to take his Pitching to the next level. The 4 week program will be structured to ensure that each player learns more about the most important aspects of pitching including visual focus, mechanical efficiency, and how to attack/read hitters. A throwing program will be implemented to increase arm speed and strength along with drills for efficiency, bullpens, and video analysis to ensure that each player exits the 4 week program a better and more confident pitcher. All sessions will be limited to a max of 4 players in order to assure each receives the individual attention and reps to reach the goals of the program. The Dates for the Camp include Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.
