My daughter and son thrived at this camp. They are both active children who would rather be outdoors than inside. They are also very social, which is why they loved the fact this camp draws campers from all over the world. Ninja Obstacle Academy Huntsville is hosting a Ninja Kids Camp to support Kaitlyn's Running for Joy Fundraiser! The 3hr camp will cost $40 per child ages 6 and up! (The registration page says 7 and up but that is being changed) 50% of all proceeds will be donated to Kaitlyn's Running for Joy, Joy Jar fundraiser! There will be 40 slots available for this camp! In this weeks summer camp children will be taught the fundamentals of wedging and centering on our brand new wheels! They will also work with clay to hand build a picture frame and a mug. This is a great camp to introduce children to clay. This event is for ages 8+

Creative Movement M/W - Session 4 - The Arts Center
Fun is the goal. Children develop physical control and listening skills through rhythm exercises, imagery and non-verbal storytelling. There will also be an arts and crafts session, and dramatic play based on favorite stories and Fairy Tales. Please pack a snack for your youngster and get ready for fun at HJT! Learn the basics of chess and improve your skills and concentration. Discover the origins of this fun game while enhancing your pattern recognition and self-discipline as you practice. Create your own board and pieces as a take-home keepsake. Up to the challenge? *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. Please note that lunch is not provided and students must be registered for both a morning and afternoon camp. 319-294-2036

Adventure Horse Camp for girls wanting immerse oneself into horsemanship, horse play, trail riding and horse care as well as many other fun activities. Every girl needs a sleepover and what better way to spend the night than at the farm. Tuesday and will be a day camp from 9am - 3pm. Thursday will start at 9am and stay overnight till Friday at 3pm. Please bring to camp: Riding boots, helmet (optional) Tuesday & Wednesday bring lunch, snacks, and drinks. Thursday: Bring overnight lunch we will provide dinner. Friday: We will provide breakfast and lunch. Bring snacks to share with your fellow campers, sleepovers are always better with evening snacks. Camp includes limited 4-H camper insurance, snacks, a camp T-shirt and activity supplies. 360-907-2331

The Senior High Workshop (SHW) provides a fun, challenging, inspiring, and fulfilling week-long experience for teens while helping them to develop leadership skills needed to succeed in diverse environments. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff to develop a unique leadership style to apply to their lives at home. Throughout the week, teens are encouraged to set goals and are given the tools to achieve them. Additionally, the students meet other teens from around the state and have the opportunity to form life-long friendships with each other. The SHW staff strive to empower teens to be the leaders they want to be in their community and agents of positive change in society.ELIGIBILITY For students entering Grades 9th -12th during the 2016-2017 school year 301-444-8623
