Students who will be in the 9th or greater in the fall of 2016 are eligible to attend. Our high school camps are designed to give each individual athlete a solid foundation in the basic football fundamentals needed to excel at his specific position. LSU Head Football Coach Les Miles directs this program with assistance from his staff and guest coaches. This means you will receive the same expert coaching that every LSU player receives. The Lakeland PAL Youth is proud to partner with NFL superstars Michael and Maurkice Pouncey to host the 6th Annual Pouncey Twins Youth Football Camp on Saturday July 9, 2016. The free camp will take place from 8AM – 12PM at Lakeland Christian School, located at 1111 Forest Park Street. Boys and girls ages six to sixteen are invited to come develop their football skills with help from NFL players and coaches from across Polk County. To guarantee a spot, parents must pre-register their child. Since the Dallas Harvest Festival has been cancelled, we have moved our annual Craft Fair fundraiser to that Saturday, (Sept. 19th) cause folks like YOU will be looking for something else to do. Additionally we will be expanding to include a Flea Market! Come shop at the Craft Fair for gifts, home decor, handcrafted jewelry, wood crafts, and more. This year's event includes a flea market, bake sale, and a chili cook-off. The Snackshop will be open with some delicious lunch & dinner specials including our famous APPLE DUMPLINGS!-Get 'em while they last! Proceeds will benefit students attending Student Life Camp and/or the Fall Leadership Retreat.

We love our Arrowhead campers! These 2nd graders show that they are ready for all the fun activities Marinwood has to offer. Arrowhead campers can be seen exploring our local Forest, playing epic games of Capture the Flag on our field and have even known to travel over to Miller Creek to play in the giant gymnasium. When not exploring, Arrowheads like to play at our playground, take a dip in the pool or spend some chill time doing arts and crafts indoors. Vocal at JazzFest Jazz Camp-Commuter - Augustana University
This year, a new vocal component has been added to the camp! Vocalists will learn to sing with an ensemble, combo and develop jazz singing skills. Special lessons will be available such as style, interpretation, vocal technique, introduction to music theory, scat singing and more. Plus, top vocalists will be featured with the jazz combos at JazzFest! Space is limited for vocalists! Vocal applicants will have to audition before final acceptance Audition Criteria: 1. A standard jazz tune (Fly Me to the Moon, Stormy Weather, etc.); please bring a copy of the sheet music for the accompanist 2. Auditionees will be required to perform range and tonal memory tests. 3. Auditions may take place in person on the campus of Augustana University with Dr. Russell Svenningsen, by submitting a private YouTube, or audition via Skype. 4. Join Blake girls varsity lacrosse coach Linda Hokr and her staff for the fastest game on two feet. This camp will help develop fundamental skills to grow and master the sport — all while having a whole lot of fun. Each day focuses on a specific skill set, beginning with a series of drills and concluding with a game-like setting during which campers put those skills to use. Former and current high school varsity lacrosse players are present to ensure that each camper receives individual attention throughout the week. All levels are welcome; beginners are encouraged. Players are grouped based on age and experience.
