Max Lax is a co-educational sports camp that focuses on introducing children to the sport of lacrosse as well as other cooperative games. Your child will learn the basic skills of lacrosse and participate in different games, which will help with the development of those skills while also having fun. At camp your child will also play different team building and cooperative games such as capture the flag, water balloon team tag, lacrosse baseball, dodge ball and European handball. The campers will also have the opportunity to cool off from the summer sun on the camp favorite: Max Lax Mega Slip n Slide. Albany Gems Summer Youth Dance Camp - Albany, OR
The Gems are hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Dance Camp on July 16-17th, 2016. This is a two day camp for 1st - 8th grade dancers of all abilty and skill levels. All classes will be held in the main facility at the Albany Boys and Girls Club. Both days will run from 8:00am - 3:00pm. This give LOTS of time for parents to get some stuff done while we entertain your kiddos! Classes will be split up by level and experience so that everyone is in a class they are comfortable with. Classes will be divided into Mini, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. Class descriptions will be posted later in the comments. Dancers will stretch and warm up together, learn a entire camp dance, learn level appropriate dance routines, practice technical skills that apply to all dancers, and dancers will be given snack and lunch breaks both days. At the end of the second day (3:00pm) there will be a family and friends show so that your dancers can show you what they've been working on. We have INCREDIBLE instructors coming from ALL over the State of Oregon to give your kiddos the BEST experience possible! ...
