Make summer time a great time to play and explore! Camp Kateri is a week-long day and overnight summer camp at Rosaryville Spirit Life Center located in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Established in the 1960s, our youth summer camp continues to offer an exciting and enriching summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7-13. Each summer, Camp Kateri provides a special summer camp program of recreation, adventure, creativity and fun! From horseback riding, cooking and swimming to camp fires and canoeing, each day at camp is packed with discovery and great opportunities to build lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. The Rosaryville grounds are fully equipped with over 500 acres, a junior Olympic-size swimming pool, a 2-acre fishing pond, stables, gymnasium, nature trails and more. Camp is filled with fun and challenging activities geared towards developing mind, body and spirit. We aim to provide summer camp experience that can serve as inner resources for building character. Great Summer All Around
The week before our son was getting ready for the camp he was planning out all the things he wanted to do. Top of the list were the rifle shooting and archery. Of course, he got to try a little bit of everything. Now when I ask what his favorite thing to do at Camp Bear Track was he changes every five minutes! He even seems to like golf! *********SORRY CLASS IS NOW FULL AS OF 11:30 ON 9/9/16. IF YOU COMMENTED BEFORE THIS TIME YOU ARE CONFIRMED AS GOING. THANKS!!!*********** Parents please stay with your children for this event. Bring lawn chairs to relax in. This will be our final Kids Gun Safety Class this season. Ages 5-17. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. Donations of cash or ammo will be accepted at the registration table but are not mandatory for attendance. All donations go to future children's classes. Registration will start at 12:00 so please be early! Thanks!!

This GRACE camp is based on the theme of water. Each day the activities will be based on this theme. Our biggest field trip of the summer is to Wet n Wild waterpark. For increased safety, this will be a family trip. So plan on joining the fun:) We also swim at T.A.C.
