Campers will visit the local Build-A-Bear store on Monday to create their own teddy bears. The rest of the week will be spent creating accessories and other items that go along with their individual bears. Campers will spend quality time with popular Old Trail teachers and friends incorporating stories and drama, arts and crafts, songs and games, social studies and research, science and exploration, Math, and Language arts into all their explorations. Emphasis on teamwork, celebration of individual growth and creativity will make this camp exciting and memorable. Campers should wear comfortable play clothes and be ready to go, go, go! Whether youve never taken voice lessons before or you have a few years of experience, Voice Camp is right for you. Students will work in small groups to develop their technique - improving their breathing, range and confidence. Through solos, duets and large ensemble pieces, students will study a variety of styles and genres including jazz, pop, musical theater and classical singing while continuing to expand their music reading skills. Each student will be expected to come to camp with a prepared, memorized vocal solo of any genre. The camp will conclude with a final concert for family and friends.
