CSE offers two camper weekends dedicated to T1D kids in a session for Teens and a session for Youth. Youth T1D camp is for kids 8-12 and Teen T1D Camp is for kids 13-15. The camper session runs from Friday-Sunday. CSE provides the campers with opportunity to learn about diabetes management and encourages independent health care. Campers with diabetes feel normal because they see all their peers with the same challenging diagnosis. CSE provides a balanced diet and menu with all carb counts for all meals. Using scenes from some of the leading voices in contemporary theatre, students will learn how to approach performing in 2-3 person scenes. Studies will include dramaturgical research, scoring the script, scene coaching, and in-class performances with feedback.
