The KMS Cycling preseason CX Camp will leave you ready and eager to begin the 2016-2017 Cyclocross season! There are many skills and race secrets involved in Cyclocross, and this camp will cover most of them! Topics include cornering, sand, barriers, hole shots, run-ups, and off-cambers, to strength and conditioning methods and plans, race preparation, course inspection, race tactics, pit management, bike maintenance, set-up, and repair, the importance of tire pressure, preparing for training/racing in inclement weather, riding efficiently, video analysis, practice races, and pathways to the elite levels of cyclocross. There will be demonstrations, drills, training rides, on-bike games, discussions, and guest appearances from top collegiate and local pro racers. This camp is targeted toward motivated 13 to 16 year-old junior Cyclocross racers of any ability. July 31 - August 6, 2016 (Sunday - Saturday) COST: $265 per camper Registration: Sunday at 3:00pm Come join the fun at Teen Camp as we discover how we can be "Relentless" in our walk with Christ and stand for Him even when it means standing alone. Teen camp is an action packed week with late night recreation, crazy games and relays, horses, archery, tournaments, relaxing in the pool or playing a game of pool in the air conditioned recreation room while making new friends or hanging out with old ones. Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) is hosting a Teen Talent Show on January 29th, 2016 with a TENTATIVE location of Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. Our annual Kid's Fishing Derby will be on Saturday. We are always looking for great volunteers to help during the derby along with donations. If you have any donations, please drop them off at the Rec Center or Office. We truly appreciate it and so do the kids.

Four Week Camp Demigod - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 12-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. These Camps are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. Our Red Rockets class will help your child learn the skills that make up the foundation of tennis playing. Activities focus on building agility, balance and coordination skills (The ABCs), while developing the on court skills needed to serve, rally, and score. Children also begin to learn useful execution of tennis specific footwork patterns (i.e. split step, side shuffle).
