LATEST CAMPS NEWS: FRIDAY : Pre & K Program - Archaeological Mysteries - The Philadelphia School
Join us for an exciting day exploring archaeological mysteries of various ancient cultures. Students will learn about the construction of a pyramid and create a three- dimensional, textural model of this ancient wonder. They will create personal cylinder seals by carving ancient symbols into a rolled cylinder and then imprint this image into slabs of clay. We will also design relief replicas of a series of ancient Geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in Peru known as Nazca Lines. Choice games, indoor and outdoor activities and a mid-morning snack of a delicious Turkish food will be provided. Please have your child bring a lunch including a beverage. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. Students are required to wear a red t-shirt on all trips. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). **Extended day is available from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20. This was the first summer my boy went to Camp Skyline and I can promise you it won't be his last! He made some great friends that he's still chatting with on Facebook. And now he wants his own horse. That might be a challenge but we're certainly going to book him for next year! He came home happy, fit and eager to do his chores. What happened?!

FREEDOM MARCH & MLK BIRTHDAY PERFORMANCE: Beginning at 2:30pm, the KIDS CAMP kids will march from Community Rocks! to the Oaklyn Baptist Church with signs in hand about FREEDOMS they are grateful for and messages of peace, love kindness. We'll arrive at the church between 3-3:30 to sing songs, share teachings and eat cake!
Teen Leadership Retreat & MLK Day of Service - Vashon, WA
The Teen Leadership Retreat takes place every year in January is geared towards teens who want to learn more about leadership and to get involved in Camp Fire and Camp Sealth. The event is not limited to previous participants of Camp Fire programs; we encourage ALL interested teens to attend. Workshops will include individual leadership skills, classic camp activities, and an optional half-day service project in Seattle. Be sure to check out our other Teen Leadership throughout the year, based out of both Camp Sealth as well as the greater Seattle area!
Senior High Teen Camp 2016 - Augusta, WV
The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 19th. Activities for Senior High could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, community service, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.

Lights, Camera, Action! As a group, we will write our own scary story-perhaps based on a true MPA ghost tale! Then, we will assemble costumes, props, and special effects.
