This fun-filled Monday-Friday camp is designed for your child to take part in eleven weeks of recreational activities, swimming, field trips and more. Camp is held out of the Meineke Recreation Center, 220 East Weathersfield Way. Extended care is also offered for an additional fee. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch and suit everyday, unless specified. Parents will receive a detailed camp calendar prior to the start of camp. Fun, Eco Friendly Summer Camp for teens. Come learn about found object art, nature in art, paper making, natural dying and so much more! Then once camp is over, we will have a special Gallery Showing of all the artists pieces at the June Trolley Hop. An environment encouraging use of the imagination, learning to take care of our Earth and discovering everyone is an artist! This will be at our new facility at 2216 Frankfort Avenue.

Next Camp is May 7th! We are holding another kids camp on Saturday May 7th. Our first few camps have gone great and we are hoping to continue building, bringing out new faces, and learning the game. Please bring out any kids, boys or girls, ages 6-12 years whether they be your own kids or others that you invite. All activities are non-contact, touch-style rugby. We got our parade rained on a little bit for the last camp, the weather turned quickly overnight on us when the storms weren't expected to show up until the afternoon. We will keep on eye on the report leading up to the event and make an announcement if necessary. Please spread the word!

CAMP Leadership Training Camp is back for its third season in Summer 2016! We are thrilled to be continuing this program as a two-week session jam-packed with outdoor adventures, group challenges, nature hikes and leadership discussions. This exciting camp is a combination of all the usual Hitchcock camp games and songs and leadership skills that will apply to being a Junior Counselor at Hitchcock and just in life! We hope to incorporate our favorite activities from last year, such as rock climbing, the ropes course challenge and our camping overnight, and go on new trips too. Well get a chance to both work with the younger campers to put what we learn into practice and to be campers ourselves playing in the woods and exploring nature.
