Cooking Around the World with Mrs. Majeed Calling all elementary foodies and aspiring chefs! Cooking Around the World is a new summer camp featuring regional recipes* and cultural activities. On each day of our ___ week camp, students will create two different dishes, develop kitchen techniques, and learn about the various cultures our recipes originate from through stories or crafts. They will also bring home a sampling of their dishes! Our camp will end with a Farmers Market visit and cooperative cook-off, in which students will select a fruit or vegetable to build their own recipe with. *Recipes will be vegetarian and allergies will be accommodated. Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. Back by popular demand, Footsteps Sports Camp led by Coach Adrian! This is a fun and interactive camp for campers who want to explore different sports and non-competitive games. Our camp promotes cooperation, teamwork, and everyone participating. Campers participate in soccer, flag football, dodge ball, tennis, swimming, and a variety of outdoor games. Friday afternoons the campers swim at local pools and take a weekly sports related field trip. Adrian and his staff of coaches make sure the day is balanced with two healthy snacks and time indoors out of the sun! 5 - Senior Track 1 - Lake Champion
An in-depth manuscript Bible study of Abrahams life in the book of Genesis. Picks up where Genesis leaves off. This track is designed for seniors who are graduating in May, and as such, is a shortened week of camp. Exact schedule is determined around participants graduation dates, but typically runs Mon-Friday. The teacher for the week will email everyone signed up after consulting your campus staff regarding the best time for seniors from each school to attend. Prerequisites: none. 609-947-9312
