Fiddling Fun and Jazzy Jammin Both fiddling and jazz styles enhance the musical development of any string player within a motivating context. Fiddlin Fun will boost your musical confidence and performance skills through a journey into an alternative performance style, through Celtic and American Fiddle Tunes. In Jazzy Jammin you will learn cool jazz rhythms, bowings, swing and bebop style, syncopation and different scales.Open to violin, viola, cello and stringed bass. Taught by Dr. Melinda Rubin. Please register by May 10, 2016 On June 17th, at the last class, parents are welcome to celebrate in the students accomplishments. Requirements: Students must have completed at least 2 years of study on their instrument and be competent in notereading so they can fully enjoy the class experience. Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. ~5th ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP CAR SHOW and SILENT AUCTION~ - Terre Haute, IN
Them One Guys Car Club is hosting our 5th annual fundraiser car show on Saturday, June 11th 2016 in K-Mart parking lot at 4651 S. US HWY 41 in Terre Haute, IN 47802. All proceeds will be donated to Boy Scout Troop 504 to help them pay for camp and other trips and supplies. Troop 504 will have a free will donation concession stand and are hand making the awards to be given to the winner of each class. The winners of each class will be determined by the spectators' popular vote and there will also be a scouts choice award which will be determined by the popular vote of Boy Scouts of any troop who come to the car show with their BSA membership card or Class A shirt on. There will be a $10 fee for early bird registration or day of show fee of $15 to enter cars, trucks or motorcycles. The first 25 will recieve a dash plaque! Science Quest: Summer Inclusion Camp 2016 We have partnered with the Challenger Learning Center of NWI to offer three Tuesday camp experiences on June 14th, 21st and 28th for all kids, teens and adults with varying abilities. Siblings, friends and neighbors are welcome! Age Groups: Students entering kindergarten-age 10 will meet from 9-11:30am Students ages 11-adult will meet from 12:30pm-2:00pm Tuesday Classes: June 14th: Astronomy June 21st: Animals and Bugs June 28th: Magnets and Electricity There is a 20 person limit per class! The cost is $10 per child which includes all three sessions. Parents are required to stay with the younger group. Buddies will be available to give our groups extra help. Registration will be coming soon!

Quadcopter Aerial Robotics - British International School of Charlotte
Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker. Campers will also perate and take home their own hand-size quadcopter at the end of the week! Price includes a $100 lab fee. 7047743016.0

Summer Camp is a 6 day camp where campers celebrate friendships and have activity filled days. We have fun at the waterfront, horseback riding and high ropes. Maple sugaring adventure! - Common Ground
Maple sugaring: February and March are sugaring season in Connecticut! The sap flows strongly on sunny mornings when it is just above freezing. Hopefully we will catch a sap run and taste some sap right from the tree! We will check out the Sugar Shack and see where the sap is boiled into syrup, make and eat some maple treats, and explore the forest for signs of spring. ********************************************************** Who: these classes are for children of all ages with a parent or caregiver (no drop-off option available for winter classes). Program fee: $15 for the first child ages 3 and up, $10 for each additional child (ages 3 and up). The sibling discount will be applied automatically when you register online. Lacrosse: the fastest growing team sport in America. This camp is designed for girls and boys. Non-contact lacrosse, also know as "Soft Lacrosse" is played. Individual skills are taught: catching, throwing, scooping and cradling. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Sports Unlimited provides all the equipment. and focuses on fun, skill development, team play, safety and sportsmanship. Campers should bring sunscreen, water and a snack. Rain make ups will take place on Fridays. History Comes Alive with Classical Theater - Wizard of Oz - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This is a truly unique course especially designed for the home-schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers.
