This camp will be an introduction to the potter's wheel! During this camp teens will have the opportunity to work in a professional ceramic studio using the same equipment that the pros use. The camp will begin with centering the clay and creating basic forms, such as bowls, cups and vases. We will spend time learning how to trim and finish the pots. Camp TMP's After School Academy presents "A Kid's Life" on Thursday, November 10, at 7:30 pm. This cast of 13 student performers shares an exciting adventure in the world of a kid! A How-To Musical Guide to the Most Daring, Dangerous, Exciting Time ... Like ... Ever! Composers: John Jacobson, Mac Huff A massive electromagnetic attack from outer space has jammed all technical systems, and there is no electricity, no cell phones, no laptops – NO FUN! The kids are in a panic and don't know what to do, until Grandma arrives on the scene and introduce them to a day filled with daring and adventure, music and imagination – all without fancy gadgets! This creative 35-minute musical appropriate for all ages features seven original songs, choreography, and terrific acting! Admission is by donation and perfect for the whole family to attend.

Great Outdoors - EcoAdventures
Great Outdoors June 27th-July 1st 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday Its back to nature in this camp and we mean literally! If it has to do with nature and the great outdoors we are all over it! These days kids seem to be losing touch with nature, so in this camp we are going to bring them back to the wild side. Kids will leave civilization behind as we head out into the great unknown to learn all about nature and surviving the outdoors. Campers will get the ins and outs of navigating trails, compass use, telling time by the sun, identify animal tracks, interact daily with animals, make fossils, build a drift shelter, survival skills, make Native American crafts, outdoor cooking (more than just smores) and so much more. By the end of camp you might not get your kid to come back into the house! Pint sized survivalist fun is on order for this camp on the Wild Side! Field trip: Patapsco Wildlife Nature Center: Hike the trails, ride the tram and have a picnic lunch. (410) 279-5416
Titus Strength Training Boys/Girls - Sanford Day Camp
Titus Speed-Strength training system and programming focuses on increasing an athletes total body explosiveness, ability to run faster, jump higher, throw further, increase change of direction efficiency and improve speed endurance. The camp will focus on mobility/flexibility, agility, balance, reaction speed and coordination for young athletes. Most exercises use the athletes own body weight or light resistance. Resistance training exercises are safe and fundamental in nature and focus on maintaining posture and positioning throughout the full range of motion. This is a great program for building any young athletes fitness and training base. ---------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. Campers will be transported to the Titus™ Center. ---------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. Golf Camps - Golf - St. Paul Gym
Learn the FUNdamentals for this lifetime sport with the University of Minnesota School of Golf. All Participants will experience the latest techniques in golf training and specialized starter equipment. Campers age 6-8 will learn putting, chipping and full swing technique through games and drills, plus etiquette and rules. Older campers add in pitching and additional training stations, plus get a chance to apply their skills on the course and learn more about how a golf course operates. These sessions are best for beginners to those with moderate experience. Bring golf clubs if you have them; some equipment is available to share. Please plan accordingly for the weather with a cap, sunscreen, water bottle, and umbrella or rain gear. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Learn a new skill and develop a new hobby this summer! Each camper will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials and every boy will be provided personal guidance while working on two to three individual projects during this special one-week tutorial session. A variety of wood project ideas and wood species will be offered. Possible projects may include constructing a bookshelf, birdhouse, wooden clock, jigsaw puzzle and carving a bowl or candleholder on a wood lathe. Woodworking experience is not required, only a desire to learn new skills. This specialty camp came into being at the request of campers and parents and has limited enrollment available for instructional purposes. We have envisioned this workshop to have the following goals: 1. To provide a hands-on course that initiates the learning of a new skill during the summer and the development of a lifelong hobby. 2. To learn basic carpentry skills and the proper use of a variety of tools. 3. To encourage pride in ones work and craftsmanship through projects that a boy wants to take home.
