Fun, week-long sessions for our students age 6 and under. Camps are available at different locations and dates, but all sessions run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Watauga Kid Fish & Campout - Watauga, TX
Come out to Watauga's Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars! Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. Don't forget your tent and camping gear! Fishing Derby Age Divisions: 6 & Under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded. We will have a few food vendors on site to purchase dinner & treats. A Free Breakfast will be provided for the overnight campers the following morning at 7:30AM. You MUST pre register for the campout by Thursday, September 16 in order to receive the free breakfast. Extreme Robotics - Middle School
In Extreme Robotics, students have extreme fun while exploring the world of technology. Using all sorts of household items, including electrical motors and gadgets, they get to build their own robots. Using applied science and engineering, students learn to solve problems while exploring various scientific principles, from biomechanics to hydraulics to magnetism and chemistry. Finally, the student made robots are put to the ultimate test in fun competitions, with prizes being awarded for the most innovative and best functioning inventions, robots, and designs. Have your child join us for a super duper fun week, and youll be amazed by what your budding little scientist has learned along the way, just by using a little imagination and some basic scientific knowledge. Basketball Camp: Girls K-5th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Lower These camps are designed for girls who want to improve their skills and understanding of the game. Fundamental instruction, individual development and contests, and team competition are all part of the camp experience. We will provide the opportunity for players to develop their basketball skills while offering an atmosphere that fosters cooperative learning, enthusiasm, and fun. Musical Theatre Little Ones - Farmhouse
This group class introduces your young actor to the craft of musical theater performance. Students will use acting exercises and imaginative games while learning songs to create a unique musical theater performance for the last day of class. Wave Runners Day Camp- Session 1 (4th-8th Graders) - Environmental Studies Center
Campers will have lots of fun while learning to care for their environment. Outdoor activities and environmental learning are the focus of this camp. New this year! Snack bar open each morning and ice cream day on Tuesdays. All selections $1.00. Activities include: *A boat trip on the Indian River Lagoon *Seining *Setting up and maintaining aquaria *Area beach and park visits *Fishing *Cast netting *Various water activities *Snorkeling *Arts & Crafts *Games & relay races *Special Friday activities All teachers are state certified and camper/teacher ratio is 20/1. In addition, high school counselors assist teachers with supervision. All water activities are closely monitored. One week minimum, $180.00 per week.
