This camp takes our intro and advanced courses and combines them...then goes beyond that for a full week of programming "overload". Starting from the very beginning, we will explore several different types of game creation: basic, maze, platform and more. Learn the basics such as creating sprites, objects, events and actions, health, gravity, designing your levels and more. Then go deeper into the platform game programming.... in this camp we will introduce even more unique gaming aspects to make your game even better. This camp will provide hours of creative time for you to build exciting, professional looking games you can play with your friends. Students receive a CD with all the class creations at the end of the course. You must have minimal experience using a computer to take this class. 770-826-0449

Fern Valley Farm Kid's Summer Day Camp - Farm Tracker Week - Bristol,
Session #6 – “Farm Trackers Camp” - July 18-21, Ages 6-12 Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Join us on the farm tracking BIG ANIMALS – Farmer Larry will teach you all about how to track animals on the farm. Go on daily nature hikes to track our "big" farm animals. . Learn how animals help make our work easier - which animals dig our garden and which help clear the land. Daily crafts include making your own "Animal Track" necklace to wear and take home, making and decorating your own Trail Camp walking stick to hike the trail. Not to mention our nature SCAVENGER HUNT! Each day will include visits with all our animals as an assistant farm tracker, running and playing in the big pasture, daily take home crafts, and visits to the Fern Valley Farm kitchen for exciting kid friendly creations. 1. Spring Camp: Minecraft - 5 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
If your child is Minecraft obssessed and dreams of making their own swords, items, blocks and mobs, and you as a parent want your child to learn the art of programming, then this is the camp for them. Kids will learn programming logic through activities both on and off the computer. Students will conceptualize, design and code their own custom Mod using Java, one of the most widely used programming languages today! Dont worry, they wont spend their whole time on the computer (although theyd like to!). We have lots of other fun minecrafty activities to keep their day active and balanced. (858)964-0645

If you would like to take this class as a half day option please contact us to register. Science, math, engineering, art: Da Vinci was a master of it all. In this class designed exclusively for young developing minds, students get to follow in his footsteps by engaging in a variety of stimulating activities that cut across a wide range of disciplines. Tool use, building and engineering, chemistry and biology, art and design, spontaneous improvisation, and healthy dose of brain and body play are all mixed together to form this experience. Each activity will last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes as students move from one subject to the next while making new discoveries about the diverse world around them.
