LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Camp Deep Space - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
Camp Deep Space takes campers to the edge of the universe on a mission to make a distant planet habitable for humans using LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits. Our videos and animations help campers build and learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. Science factoids are interspersed throughout, accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Camp Deep Spaces curriculum has been developed by Carnegie Mellon Universitys Robot Academy. Campers will work in teams to complete their missions. As an extra bonus, campers construct and launch two of their very own Estes Rockets. Campers will take their rockets home with them. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs rocket launch. We are on our way to the final frontier! Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Each camper receives one free camp t-shirt with each week of registration - order as many extras as you want at checkout! Combo Camp- This year you can choose between centrifuge or missionfuge. There will be sign up sheets soon. Talk to your parents and think about which program you want to participate in. June 27th-July 2nd. $320 per student. $50 non-refundable deposit due January 20th.
Spring Break Youth Art Camp - Hartselle, AL
We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. The remaining balance will be due on march 21st. This camp will be offered to any school aged child. If there are any questions please feel free to call or message me.
