Your budding artist will explore many techniques to complete their individual portfolios of work using pastels, watercolors, collage and much more. Exciting projects that are sure to delight boys and girls alike. Please dress for a mess! Our studio camps are 9am-1pm! Too Much Fun For One Summer
I was worried about what to do with the kids this summer because of my new job. Thanks to Camp Radians I didn't have to worry. They had so much fun every week. Between the swimming (which they can't get enough of) and the museum field trips I feel like they had extended recess. I also like the focus on culture through crafts and food. Jump Start Flag Football - Rotary Park
The All Pro Football camp will teach campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This program is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as "Punt, Pass, and Kick" and "NFL Fast Football". The week will culminate in a fun "super bowl" on the last day of camp which parents will be invited to attend. Phonics provides the groundwork for becoming a successful reader and can be phun!! With the use of 1-2 books per day campers will improve their phonics skills (including: word awareness, syllable awareness, rhyming, sound awareness and comprehension). Valentines Make-In - University City Arts League
Its a Make-In, Baby! Adults and kids of all ages can drop in and make as many valentines as you like with plenty of paper, doilies, and sparkly glitter glue! Pay what you wish in advance or at the door. Basic "scratch-foam" printing is available for younger children (under 10) and all drop-in participants. Want to learn to cut a rubber block to make a series of printed cards? Pre-registration ( at any price level) is required for this option, and is for ages 10+ only. Camp-Half Day Week 1: Cosmic Creations (ages 9-12) - Leland Cultural Arts Center
This camp is a creative combination of art and space. Campers will use visual arts to explore the final frontier! Two dimensional projects, such as drawing, painting, and collage, will focus on design elements such as color, line, and shape. Using clay, campers will take inspiration from textures and patterns found in space when they learn the basics of hand building techniques and out-of-this-world wheel throwing. Campers will be divided into separate age groups: Ages 5-8 and 9-12. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dress for the mess.
