Inspire Basketball Camp (Week 1) - St. Davids School
Please come out this summer and spend the day with Coach Will Coley and his staff. Coach Coley is the varsity boys coach at St. Davids School. He has played at the collegiate level and also has 10 years experience at the professional level in Europe. This summer we are offering a full day of basketball! Hours now go from 9am to 4pm. Students will be taught and exposed to the fundamentals of basketball starting at the basics and building up to the more advanced skills. There will be numerous games and contests ranging from shooting to 3 on 3 to 5 on 5 games. Students will be broken up into age groups and skill levels. Whether you are the beginning player or the player who plays every day we are sure that we will have something to challenge you. Trophies and certificates will be given at the conclusion of camp. A camp for the true adventure who wants a new and different camp experience with a mix of traditional! Jr. Robotics Engineer - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Entry-level robotics and programming. Campers learn robotics using LEGO® Education WeDo™. Our young creators build snapping alligators, race cars, talking birds, and spinning robots, attach sensors and motors, and then program their creations with the WeDo visual drag-and-drop programming software. Counselors guide and encourage exploration and trial and error field-testing. Instead of simply "snapping bricks together," campers are encouraged to think critically about how their robot design can be changed and to understand more complicated engineering techniques such as gear use, pulleys, and inclined planes. Foothill Horizons Summer Camp - Foothill Horizons Summer Camp
We offer seven, 5 day sessions for campers who are 8 to 12 years old. Campers who are 13 to 17 years old may attend as Counselors in Training or Junior Counselors. Each week offers an imagination based theme. Evening activites will be based on the theme of the week. Daytime activities include organized games, pool activities, creek stomps and arts and crafts.
