Combine the two most important skills in volleyball in one session! Campers will work on both skills, getting all-important multiple reps. If there is one thing you need to know about our boy and water is that you can't get him out of it... especially when he's got a inner tube to float in. I thought he might take up archery because of how many times he watched "Hunger Games!" LOL! But instead this year was his first time at fly-fishing and I'm afraid the camp made him a total convert. Kids Winter Art Camp: Mixed-Media Masks! - Bellingham, WA
In this winter break art class, we'll imagine that we are in a warm tropical place with palm trees, wild birds singing, and sandy beaches. To inspire our imagination, we’ll learn about the French post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin, the location of Tahiti, and a brief history of Tikis. Tiki masks actually have a long, rich history in Polynesian culture. The Tiki masks were originally hand-carved wooden masks that were used to symbolize deities, give protection, and increase luck. We'll create our own colorful and textured papers with paints with a variety of brushes, and different items to make texture, in mixed-media format, then use the painted papers to create our Tiki masks. Art Teacher: Rachel (LeLu) Simpson Dates: December 28th, 29th, & 30th at 3:00pm – 5:00pm Location: BAAY, 1059 N. SoCal Youth Tri Series Event #3 Kids Spring Sprint Triathlon Prerace Clinic - South Shores Park, Mission Bay
Our USA Triathlon Certified Coaches will be sure your child is well prepared for their kids triathlon! We will practice swim, bike, run and transition skills right in their race course! Healthy post event refreshments and race goodies too! Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic! EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE An email will be sent to all participants the week of the clinic with all the details. Clinic starts at 2:30p-4:30p, at Race expo site.

Athletes will improve skills with sport-specific drills and are matched with others of similar ability. A 2 ½ day Super Sport Olympic Games competition with be held starting Wednesday afternoon with prizes and 2017 WW-P Athletic Sport Camp scholarship awards.
