What Items Are Important to Bring to Summer Camp?
As always, the mission of the camp dictates what campers should bring. However, no matter the focus of the program, there are some universal essentials to bring. Packing is hard. Having a general packing list makes it easier for parents and children to handle this process. First, one should always bring bedding, a pillow, and any comfort items like a stuffed animal. Additionally, youth should bring three types of shoes: flip flops for the shower and beach, sneakers for running around, and boots if there is hiking. Science Level 2 Review - Ensworth High School
This course reviews and assesses mastery of the high school core skills as applied to one fundamental topic from each of the Level 2 trimesters. From the physics trimester the topic is projectile motion, from the chemistry trimester the topic is stoichiometry, and from the biology trimester the topic is natural selection. Ballet Camp - Cinderella - Germantown Friends School
Join the Cinderella Ballet Camp for a week filled with the joys of dance and music! Participants will read about and then recreate the magic of the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin coach, and the glass slipper before journeying with Cinderella to the castle ball. Each day, Ballet Camp will begin with classical ballet instruction followed by activities such as ballet mime, performance games, and craft projects that will serve as props for the ballet. On the last day of camp, there will be a short recital, during which campers will perform a dance from Cinderella for parents and friends. Teaching our Cinderella Ballet Camp will be Fallon Gannon, who not only is a professional dancer with Ballet Fleming and Dance DelBello, but also is a very experienced dance instructor who has extensive experience teaching preschool and Kindergarten dancers in the Philadelphia area. Ballet Camp is a morning-only camp and participants may wish to stay for the all-new Junior Explorers/Explorers Day Camp or for the Computer Camp (for Kindergartners) during the afternoon session.
