2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

Our mission is to cut out all the distractions in life, seclude ourselves away from home, and focus completely on Him. We create an atmosphere where teens feel comfortable experiencing with hearing and obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit and walking in the gifts of the spirit. As we hold camp each year, teens have personal experiences with God, they hear from Him and bring their relationships to the next level. Teen Camp is something they will look back on and refer to consistently in their futures. David Peetz "This year, as we abandon ourselves to Him and His will for the week, we believe heaven realities will be released, gifts of the spirit will flow, and miracles, signs and wonders will take place. The greater glory is here and we are looking to take advantage of all the Father has supplied for us to walk in. Each year expect camp to be slightly different, we learned a lot from last year in that flowing with Him and His leading is so much more powerful and important than...

1. Session I - Morning - UA College of Fine Arts
Visual Arts: Abstract Expressionism exploded onto the art scene after World War II. Rather than follow the tame methods from the Old World, these young bohemians applied paint in a dramatic and experimental manner. Find out why Jackson Pollock was known as "Jack the Dripper" and how Willem de Kooning swashbuckled loaded brushes with colliding garish colors. Youll be dripping, smearing, slathering, and flinging your way to incredible artwork! Puppetry: The stars of several popular 1940s TV shows were inanimate objects. Hmmm… how could that be? They were puppets like Howdy Doody, Kukla & Ollie and their friends that created a make-believe world, entertaining children and adults alike! Design your own puppet and perform for your friends and family while learning the magic of this ancient yet enduring art form. 5203190400.0
