All-Star Camp - UFCU Disch-Falk Field
The All-Star Camp is for the serious ballplayer aged 13-18. Each player will run through a professionally-run showcase workout where he will get an opportunity to display his speed, agility, work ethic, offensive and defensive skills. Each player will receive an individual player evaluation from his coach at the end of camp. He will also get the opportunity to play in controlled scrimmages on UFCU Disch-Falk Field and tour the facilities. 512-720-2527

Cool Ventures at Chevy Chase ES - Chevy Chase Elementary School

StoryDance! ( for preschoolers aged 2-5) - University City Arts League
For 2-5 year olds, this weekly class combines creative movement with story time! Its a fun learning experience that builds language acquisition, developmental movement, conceptual understanding, personal expression, social skills, and creative problem solving. We will use our bodies with assistance from our expanding imaginations to move through stories to reinforce verbal literacy through the young childs strong kinesthetic intelligence. This is a half day (AM) camp and will include following session: 1. Introduction to Programming, Web Programming & JavaScript : 9:00am-12:00pm In this camp, students will learn to make web pages and will make a mini website. They will learn programming fundamentals while learning JavaScript. Students will apply their JavaScript skills on the website. The ocean is full of action, adventure, and discovery. Take a new journey into the marine environment each day by foot, kayak, or SUP. Learn about bait balls, action packed salt ponds and benthic communities by pulling up animal traps and collecting bottom samples. Thrash on waves using boogie boards, go on a kayak excursion, and help choose our snorkel sites. Pick a new travel destination with your class, and decide the route to take us to our destination.
