The Summer Camp on the Road committee chose the following acts: The Company Stores Fletcher's Grove Grand Ole' Ditch The Jakobs Ferry Stragglers Dale and the ZDubs Each paid $5 entry recieves a voters card to submit anytime during the contest. Kid's Summer Art Camp - Lexington, NC
This summer art camp will be daily July 12th-15th from 10-12. Each day they will leave with a completed art project. 4 projects in total. Self-portrait, monster rocks, scratch art, and watermelon canvas painting. I will post pics of others in comments. Cost is $100 for the camp and includes all materials and lots of fun! Ages 5-12. This is the first youth camp hosted by St. Nofer Youth Meeting. We will be going to Gatlinburg, TN. The Cabin reserved is located in Gatlinburg on one of the highest peaks and the views of Mt. Le Conte are just spectacular, downtown Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg ski resort by day and the beautiful city lights by night. We will have 2 Lectures, PEP talks, spiritual discussions, chats among the youth, a lot of entertainments using the cabin features, all that aside from touring around the city. This Camp will be a guys only camp. Santa Fe is home to a rich, diverse and ancient history of many cultures. This week we will put on our detective hats to sleuth out some of our local lore combined with outdoor exploration. We will learn about archeology and what a real archeologist does. Well travel to Bandelier and Pecos National Monument to learn about ancestral pueblo people, the Santa Fe Trail and civil war.
