The Home and School Association is proud of LEP, a program for managing afterschool enrichment at Lafayette. The HSA will not directly operate any specific afterschool offerings, but will oversee and centralize the process of registration, attendance and program conformance to all DCPS mandates for using school facilities. Classes vary in content and approach to accommodate different learning styles and interests as well as covering a variety of ages. Enrichment programs aim to allow kids to experiment, take risks, learn new skills, make new friends and develop confidence to succeed inside and outside the classroom. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE! We are so excited this year the Lord has opened for mission camp here in Mississippi!!! For youth ages 9yrs - 14yrs old. We also have 2 Mission Service openings for ages 15yrs - 17yrs and 2 openings for Co-Counselors In Training 18yrs -19yrs old. We will be having it at Wauaway Springs Christian Retreat Center in Vossburg, MS and we are keeping the cost low. You can start paying deposits in January 2016! See our flyer for more information!

Fullerton Football Youth Camp - Fullerton, CA
It's our 11th annual Fullerton Football Youth Camp. Please join us from Thurs. June 25-27 for three full days of football and fun. Fundamentals will be learned, lessons will be earned, and calories will be burned. We need all the support we can get. The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 5th. Activities for Middle School could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, bike riding (Middle School week, helmet required), waterpark, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. One Week Half-Blood - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 9-15) will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Half-Blood Unites with Camp Jupiter are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. Checkmate Champions is the future of chess teaching. This chess camp combines the Classical strategies of chess with new innovative modern technology that creates a very FUN-damental experience for all kids regardless of their chess playing abilities. Checkmate Champions is more than a chess camp, it?s a chess experience. While in the class, students will learn not only how to play chess but they will learn the rules, history, and also how to record their games so that they can reflect on them at a later date. Students will have the chance to play their favorite chess variation games such as Bughouse (team chess), Allies, Bobby Fischer chess and IPad chess to name a few. After all the fun and games, the kids will have the opportunity to participate in a real life class chess tournament. They will play against different opponents and get practice using an actual tournament clock.
