Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Big Kid on Campus
Do you know or have kids that have in some way been affected by cancer, whether that means they have battled it themselves or have loved ones that have? Would they enjoy spending a day at Georgia Tech with college students? Then bring them on out to Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship for Big Kid on Campus, a Saturday full of fun! We are hosting a day full of fun entertainment and activities including games, crafts, makeovers, kickball with the Georgia Tech Softball team, and even an appearance by Santa! If you are interested in volunteering to make this happen and spend the day with these wonderful kiddos, you are also welcome! Will your child(ren) be entering 3rd-6th grade for the 2016-2017 school year? Begin planning now to send them to the PNW Foursquare Camp at Cedar Springs Camp in Lake Stevens, Washington happening July 25-29, 2016. Did you know a camper is exposed to more of what the gospel is about in one week at camp than regular church attendance for a whole year. At summer camp 2015, there were 45 first time salvations, 108 re-dedications,87 Holy Spirit baptisms, 29 physical healings, 23 calls to full-time ministry and 72 commitments to discipleship! Young campers will be exposed to wonderful childrens literature selections, explore a variety of art materials, create crafts, enjoy sand and water play, sing songs, play games and participate in a balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers must be able to manage toileting & dressing needs independently; and have not yet attended kindergarten. Daily nutritious snacks are provided. All campers should wear their swimsuit under their shorts for times of water play and bring a towel for drying off after fun in the sprinkler. Camp Collegiate Session 4 3rd-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Hawley Session 4: Cool Chemistry Camp Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Each day at camp begins at 9:00 AM with a game of Capture the Flag and ends at 3:00 PM with a fun closing activity where the Happy Camper for the day is announced.
