Amazing Summer Adventure
We felt it was very important for our kids to spend at least a portion of the summer surrounded by nature. They got plenty of that at Moss Hollow! This was a summer of first for our children including first time in a canoe, first time sleeping overnight outside the home, first time camping, first time fishing. Paint and Paddle Summer Camp is a creative and physically stimulating unique experience in our natural environment. Campers work with instructors on stand up paddleboard techniques, explore Elbow Creek, and engage in art projects! * June 13-17, 2016 * Ages 8-13 * M-F 9 AM - 3 PM * $180 per camper Cost covers the paddle board equipment, art supplies, and camp shirt. *The staff includes Certified Stand Up Paddleboard instructors, Certified K12 Art Educators, and Volunteers. Projects designed specifically for teens ages 13-17... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week (Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm) and then having a "showcase" party on Friday July 31st from 12-2pm to show off what the teens have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

We return to Fuge camps, but in a different town and different state. We will travel to Lynchburg VA and Liberty University for a week of fun and service projects! They say "Virginia is for lovers", but we are going to change that to "Virginia is for the life changing lovers of Jesus"

June 27-30: Photo Safari (Ages 8-11) - Mountain Kids!
Kids and digital cameras in nature – a recipe for fun and stunning images! Campers will capture their unique perspectives of the natural world on their daily adventures in the mountains. On Thursday, campers will have time to select, edit and crop a photo for a Friday art show and celebration! Equipment: It is suggested that campers bring their own camera, however we have one group camera that can be shared if they do not have one. 505-699-6230

Do you love to move, run, and be active? Do you like to play sports and be part of a team? If so, Program Director Monika Carbochova is ready for you to join the fun! This high-energy camp will explore the following sports: soccer, flag football, Wiffle ball, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, and anything else we can find to have fun outside. Floor hockey, basketball, and indoor games can also give relief from summer storms or heat. Enjoy 3 hours of the most delicious game buffet. Have fun with friends; keep fit; and master new skills.
