Farm Camp is a Cascade Mountain School day program that introduces younger students to the fun and excitement of learning where our food comes from. Come explore a variety of farm activities in Trout Lake, WA. Play in the gardens. Tour a local organic dairy. Learn about animal care. Feed the chickens and cook a meal with farm fresh eggs. Parents are also welcome to join in on these amazing hands-on activities. Day camps for ages 9-12 will be held Monday through Thursday from 1-4 pm each day. There will be optional transportation from Hood River, OR and Bingen, WA for an additional fee. The fee is $12.50/day/student for transport. 503-358-1949

INSTRUCTOR BIO: KEELY KIRK stepped into the improv abyss at a tender age and found a place to be herself. She began training with Mental Floss, a Miami-based improv/sketch troupe which performed at the Coconut Grove Playhouse until Hurricane Andrew blew it all away. She went on to be a principal performer for over ten years with Laughing Gas Comedy Improv --Miamis longest-running improv theatre company. She then decided that Miami was just too warm and balmy and moved to Chicago (the improv epicenter), where she was involved with and trained with IO (formally Improv Olympics) and Second City. While in Chicago, Keely decided to follow President Obama to Washington D.C., to become his presidential jester; however, due to government cutbacks, she was furloughed. Santa Monica Sports Experience for Boys and Girls ages 8-14: A unique sports camp for kids who enjoy concentrating their energy on sports activities, action-packed tournaments and innovative organized games.
