FREE- Type 1 Diabetes Teen Camp - Cornville, AZ
JDRF has partnered together with Camp Soaring Eagle to offer a FREE CAMP to Type One Diabetic children ages 8-15 to come experience the healing power of laughter! CSE offers two camper weekends dedicated to T1D kids in a session for Teens and a session for Youth. Youth T1D camp is for kids 8-12 and Teen T1D Camp is for kids 13-15. The camper session runs from Friday-Sunday. CSE provides the campers with opportunity to learn about diabetes management and encourages independent health care. Campers with diabetes feel normal because they see all their peers with the same challenging diagnosis. CSE provides a balanced diet and menu with all carb counts for all meals. Parents are welcome to stay and volunteer or drop off children for the camp. Volunteers will be background checked at the expense of Good Shepherd Church. Requirement: Completed Registration form per child. Registration Deadline: Upon maximum capacity of 30 children or December 12, 2016; whichever comes first. Only five children of the age two are able to be in the camp.

Mini-Summer Day Camp - Gallatin, TN
Sumner Teen Center extends our hours to 7:30am-6pm for TWO DAYS ONLY for this special VBS inspired camp. There will be lots and lots of group games indoors and out. Pre-register for a 2:15pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 2:15pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 1:45pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 2:00pm your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. We cannot guarantee that that will be the next audition group. Growing Scientists: DaVinci Discovery What do painting, engineering, sculpting, music and math all have in common? They are all part of a new camp theme, integrating science and art, for the inventive imaginations of your child. Taking CuriOdysseys observational approach to science, campers will engineer with shapes, document patterns in nature, and find symmetry all around them. Campers will do as DaVinci did hundreds of years ago and explore their curiosity and stretch their creativity. Camp - Explorer Camp 10-14 yrs 8/15-8/19 - Recreation-D.P.S.
This camp is geared towards the older campers. We will be taking a small tour around the county to visit a few of the water parks. Campers should be comfortable in the water even though all sites have lifeguards on duty. Lunches, towels, swim suits and sunscreen are required each day.
