Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 1) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

2016 Youth Karate Summer Camp - Shepherdsville, KY
Our Youth Karate Summer Camp offer children 6-13 years old a chance to experience the benefits of Karate/ martial arts over the Summer. Along with a daily karate class and exercise we will have weekly field trips to the local pool and park; crafts and games to build and develop positive team and individual life skills that will stay with your child a lifetime. Camp is set up weekly 7am - 5pm, Monday though Friday for $80.00 per week; with multiple child discounts available. Contact us to register or for more information.

Teen Advisory Council: Meeting and Campfire Dinner - Philadelphia, PA
Friday, August 19 5:30pm-7:00pm Teens can join us for a night of fun in the park. We will have a planning meeting for the fall, Elections for our Officers, and cooking dinner over the campfire. Email stephanie.hoffer@phila.gov for more information.

This is our 1st "Winter" Youth Camp...make plans to bring your Youth groups and be with us for this series of meetings...a line up of speakers for the meetings is listed in the photo...this Camp is not only for the 'Youth', but for all ages!! Spring Break Outdoor Fun Camp - Spring 15-16 - Marion County Parks and Recreation
A week of outdoor fun with a variety of recreation activities that may include nature exploration, hiking, kayaking (age relevant), fishing, crafts, etc. Before-and-after camp care (7:30 - 8 am and 5 - 5:30 pm) included. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Program refund requests must be received in writing 14 days in advance of the scheduled program date. A great way to try one day camp or week long camps of our AMAZING BEST OF THEMES! June 20th-June 24th 9am-4pm August 15th-August 19th 9am-4pm Mondays – Great Outdoors Tuesdays – Yick, Yack, Yuck Wednesdays – Marine Biology Sea Camp Thursdays – Mummy Madness Friday Field trip: Sandy Point State Park – We will head to the shores of the Chesapeake for some seining, Beach exploring, hiking and games. Triple Threat Theatre Class - OCS Arts Center
Can you sing, act and dance? We break down the scary world of auditions so they can handle them like a pro. Each skill will be taught using fun Broadway tunes, and basic theatre dance movement. In addition, each camper will leave with a headshot. POTTERY ON THE WHEEL - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Twila Brock Beginning and advanced beginner students will have the opportunity to continue developing their skills in the various approaches to throwing functional ware on the wheel under the guidance of Twila Brock who specializes in this area. Instruction will be focused on basic techniques. Forms will be thrown, altered, and assembled to create various vessels. Projects will be tailored to the students skill level. Glazing techniques will also be addressed. Students must provide a clean towel each week. Video Production Basics (PM) - The Digital Arts Experience
Come for 1 or 2 weeks! These programs are aimed at beginner to intermediate level students. Because our classes are small groups, instructors can gauge each students skill level and assign projects appropriately. All students will receive their own DAE 8GB flash drive to store their work on and take home! Watching movies is awesome but how do you make them? This class introduces students to the basic concepts of creating movies! Students will learn composition techniques to create interesting shots, how to tell a good story with clever editing and how to plan out their own project.
