The Flagler College Cheerleading Team is hosting their fifth camp for area elementary school children (grades K-5) interested in learning more about cheerleading and dance. When and where is the camp? Saturday, April 2nd, 2016; 8:00am - 5:00pm* Flagler College Gymnasium 12 Granada St. St. Augustine, Florida 32084 *Campers will put on a performance of their skills from 4:00 – 5:00pm. Please note this is not an overnight camp. How much is the camp? Pre-registration: $75 (registration via ACTIVE and payment via ACTIVE or check sent in to: Flagler College, Attn: Cheerleading, P.O. Box 1027 St. Augustine, FL 32085 by April 1st) Day-of registration: $100 Full payment is due for pre-registered and day-of registered campers on April 2nd, 2016 Who should attend the camp? Girls and boys, ages 5-12 years old (grades K - 5). What will campers learn? Age-appropriate fundamental cheerleading and dance skills including cheerleading motion technique, dances, jumps, tumbling and stunts will be presented in a safe environment. YHBC Chapel Dedication - Beattyville, KY
You are invited to the dedication of the new chapel at Youth Haven Bible Camp at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21! A reception with refreshments will follow the dedication service. As most of you know, the chapel honors the memory of Julia Brandenburg, daughter of KMM missionaries, Scott and Amy Brandenburg. Chapel services were Julia’s favorite activity at Youth Haven and while she was able to enjoy only one summer as a camper before her passing in 2012, countless children will continue to hear the gospel message in the new chapel in the years to come. Although there may be work yet to be done, the building will be dedicated for God’s use and glory on May 21. If you plan to attend, please contact us by May 9, as this will help in our preparation for the event. Whos ready to have a fiesta? Throughout the week well practice our Spanish while taking trips to the Latino markets in Durham, the Panaderia (bakery), and the Paleteria (ice cream shop). La Cocina Loca campers will shop for lunch ingredients to make their lunches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and hop on the Duke School bus to travel off campus for lunch on Tuesday and Thursday. The Stanford All Star Baseball Camp (Session 1) is designed to be the best baseball camp you will ever attend. Campers will enjoy a full practice and a full game each day of camp, with first class instructors from over 40 universities.
