Yes, boys will boys and that's why this camp experience was tailor made for our two pre-teens. It seems like they never run out of energy and this was the perfect environment to keep them busy. I also very much liked the ability to check in and see how they were progressing. Riverside Youth Camping Trip 2016 - Fort Myers, FL
THE COST IS $35. There are only 80 spaces!! You are not signed up until you pay for it. Food! Fun! Friends!! Fishing!! Fire!!! Fresh Air and Fellowship!!! "It's the nature of the place." Riverside Retreat, formerly the South Florida United Methodist Camp, was renamed in 2006 for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Our nearly 150 acres are dotted with open meadows and grassy corridors surrounded by a lush forest of pines, cypress, palms, live oaks and other native species. The varied habitat provides beauty and the opportunity for exploration and appreciation of creation, as noted in our motto.

Be a Civil War Soldier: Kid’s Camp - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 8-12 years old? Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 16 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is April 8th. Full Day Enrollment - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Morning Only (9:00 am - Noon) Storybook Theatre – Once upon a time there were creative young campers that gathered at the Community Arts Center for a week of fairytale fun! Your camper will create their own happily ever after! Afternoon Only (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) Magical Muggles– Still waiting for your Hogwarts letter? So are we! This camp will be for us muggles ready to learn some magic! We will make our own wands, play quidditch, craft potions and get sorted into Houses. Let the magic begin! Cross Training Session #2 - Uskichitto
One of our biggest camps! The spiritual focus on this week is finding an identity in Christ; campers will experience exciting, energetic worship services with our camp band. Bible studies offer Q&A sessions for whatever is on your campers mind. Little Aquanauts (Week 8 AM) - Maritime Mysteries - NESS
Venture on and around the water using maps and clues to solve these maritime mysteries. Use compasses, kayaks, microscopes, historical stories, and animal evidence to decipher the hints to reveal and find your destinations. Go geocaching, utilize compasses, and use magnifying glasses and microscopes to help reveal some of the millions of planktonic animals and algae living all around us. 860-535-9362
