School of Sharks (session 2) - California State University, Monterey Bay
Have you ever wondered how sharks hear sound, migrate across the ocean, or find prey? Unlock these mysteries as we explore the science behind the largest fishes in the sea! From understanding the importance of this top predators role in balancing the oceans ecosystem, to learning about conservation efforts to save endangered sharks, youll meet shark researchers who are discovering answers to these questions. LITTLE SLUGGERS BASEBALL CAMP - Adams Park
Put me in coach...Im ready to play! This camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and techniques from hitting, fielding, and throwing to base running and more. Camp will be conducted rain or shine. Parents will be provided with information on how to handle rain days on the first day of camp. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend campers use sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30. Pirates & Mermaids Summer Camp - Stutelage Innovations
Ahoy ye pirates and mermaids! Join the Captain and his crew as we spend a week with the pirates and mermaids. Each day, campers will read about both pirates and mermaids and engage in themed crafts. Have fun painting seashells, decorating pirate masks and even walking the plank. On Friday, bring your bathing suit, towel and a change of clothes because we will be splashing around in the sprinkler with the mermaids!
