Youth & Teen Summer Camp (ages 6 and up) - Largo, FL
What: This camp is perfect for the beginning or the experienced dancer. Whether you’re wanting to try out new styles of dance or just want to hone your skills for the next dance season, this camp has it all! I cannot put into words how much CK has meant to me and I can't wait to relive the experience. Camp was easily the most life changing and happiest time of my life. With that being said....I'm back again!!! Back to plug how amazing this org and non-profit is and back to fundraising for the kids. For those of you who may not know, Camp Kesem is a camp for children's whose parents have been affected by cancer. Camp is their chance to live freely as children without any of the weight and worry of cancer. I'm so excited to embark on this journey again and can't wait until the countdown to camp begins!!! This 3 week teen intensive is back by popular demand July 9 - July 29 - fb's events can not be longer than 2 weeks so the correct dates are July 9 - July 29! Our teens love this camp! This camp is a trip and travel camp based out of Southern Oregon. An Introduction to Robotics using LEGO® WeDo and Computers Students 1st grade and older get a head start on simple robotics with this concept. They build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. All Merit Badge requirements will be fulfilled during this class. Children are fascinated by cartoon animation and this class will walk them through the basics of animation. This is a fundamentally-based camp for boys and girls ages 6-13; focusing on skill development through daily drill periods, contests, and competitive games. Instruction is provided by High School coaches and current and former college basketball players. Camp Director, Brett McFall, is an Olathe South High School grad and 1997 Mr. Kansas Basketball. Brett was a 4-year player at the University of Wyoming (1997-2001) and played professionally in Europe and the USA (2002-2004). He has 13 years of coaching experience and is currently the head coach at Shawnee Mission South High School. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt.
