7th Annual Youth Acting Camp & Production of "Tom & Huck!" - Brooklyn,
ACT-OUT! Acting School proudly announces Our Seventh Annual Youth Summer Camp and Production of "Tom & Huck!" The Story of Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn (all roles in "Tom & Huck!" are open, and may be cast to actors of any age 3-18, any race, or any gender). Since 2007, Act-Out! has been providing Bay Ridge & the Greater Brooklyn Area with world-class acting instruction at very affordable prices. We have served students of all ages and levels of experience, from beginners to Broadway veterans. Led by NYS-Certified drama teacher and Award-winning actor John Stillwaggon (see below for brief biography), students learn physical and vocal preparation, improvisation, line memorization, stagecraft, action/obstacle work, as well as character and scene analysis. Students and parents have reported vast improvements not only in acting ability, but in such life skills as conflict resolution, goal-setting, teamwork, discipline, memory, and self-esteem. At the close of the two-week camp (students meet for four hours each weekday), the student ensemble performs a full-length, original theatrical production. Students experience vast growth as artists and as human beings, and lifelong friendships are made. 2017 LSBT Youth Camp - Larkspur, CO
LSBT Youth Camp 2017 invites all 6th-12th graders a chance to get away from everything and focus on their relationship with God! Every day they will be served 3 Awesome meals and just as many Spiritual meals!! Every afternoon will be filled with activities, such as, low and high obstacle courses, kick ball, volleyball, horseshoes, inflatable jousting matches, and glow in the dark dodgeball!! ALL of this in a peaceful camp setting with Spectacular views of Pikes Peak! Cost is $425 includes lodging for 6 nights, 20 meals, camp t-shirt, and all activities!!! Travel back in time to when our ancestors arrived and needed everything from plates and bowls to homes to live in. Learn how they made use of the soft clay shale along the stream bank. Make your own bowl, learn how to ‘chink a log cabin and cast bricks. Well even dye a t-shirt with clay dyes! 513-891-4227

Tiny Tots camp is a great place to make new friends, learn new things, and have fun! This camp is geared toward the 4-6 year old age group and offers a wide variety of exciting activities. Your child will enjoy weekly themes, four exciting field trips, and lots of outdoor fun! The dedicated staff of the Hartland Recreation Department provides a safe and stimulating environment for all. Contact the Hartland Rec Department to learn more, sign up, and join the fun. It is required that your child brings sunscreen, a bag lunch, mid-afternoon snack, and plenty of water. Ratio of instructors to children is 1:5 for this camp. Camp will be held at Nixon Park, Aug 15 - 28. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please be sure to send each participant to camp with sunscreen, a bag lunch, snack and water bottle. Tumble/ Cheer will teach young athletes essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team. Our cheer camp will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements as well as jumping and tumbling techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each child learns important life skills such as teambuilding and leadership.
