LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Week 6 3 Half Days AM Westport Summer All Sports Camp - Greens Farms Elementary School
For Boys and Girls ages 4-12 We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups. The earth and our local park and gardens provide our campers with an extraordinary opportunity for exploration. Our campers will begin tending to the soil and planting seeds. Our campers will also learn about composting with a visiting workshop from Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
