Join La Paz physical education instructor, Ron McAlister, and Mission Viejo High School teacher, Kelly McAlister, for a week of fun, sports, games, and exercise. Each day will be jam-packed with activities to get your heart pumping and your face smiling. We will play all kinds of sports and activities such as: indoor soccer, lacrosse, whiffle ball, volleyball, relays, floor hockey, bowling, stilts, earth ball, scooters, and more. The emphasis at La Pazitive Sports Camp is on fun, participation, and sportsmanship. All sessions will be held in the comfort of the La Paz air-conditioned gym. Girls Soccer: Preseason Prep Camp - Hopkins Campus
Join Blake varsity soccer coach Lindsay Youngdahl for a preseason prep camp to help you gear up for the upcoming fall soccer season! This camp, like the Blake soccer teams, will emphasize teamwork, leadership, hard work and good sportsmanship. Activities will include large group warm-ups, individual skill development and small group competitions. Bring a soccer ball, shin guards, water and sunscreen. The Advanced Libero Camp is designed for defensive specialists and liberos that have some experience and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Campers will work on the specifics of becoming a more advanced and consistent defender and serve receive passer, and will run drills designed to set them apart from their fellow competitors. Urban Trail Bike Camp - Kids on Bikes Community Center
This fun and safety focused urban trail riding camp offers kids the opportunity to explore local trails that connect our city. Base camp will start at the Kids on Bikes community bike center, which allows connection by trail onto Shooks Run, Greenway Trail, and Midland Trail. Each day, participants will ride to a new location by utilizing bike trails and some neighborhood streets. The goal is to ride to a new destination each day such as to the library, Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, Velodrome, Popcycle Bridge, Pulpit Rock and more. The focus of this camp is on cycling safety, trail etiquette, bicycle commuting as transportation and basic bike maintenance skills like changing flats and solving gear problems. Please bring a sack lunch, a backpack, water bottle and a jacket. To prepare for camp, please make sure your child is comfortable on dirt with two wheels before registering for this program and would be comfortable riding 8-10 miles (sounds like a lot but we take a lot of breaks!). 7193553573.0
