The Pitching Camps (Ages 12+) provide middle and high school aged kids a chance to have hands-on instruction. All aspects of pitching are covered including the fielding of your position as well as pick off moves. Special emphasis is given to proper pitching and arm mechanics. This was the first summer my boy went to Camp Skyline and I can promise you it won't be his last! He made some great friends that he's still chatting with on Facebook. And now he wants his own horse. Explorer - Night Owl Camp - Monroe Camp and Retreat Center
This camp is for the campers who like late mornings and late evenings, along with a little extra night time adventure. Night Owls get all the fun of summer camp plus a few extra surprises after dark. (910) 276-1654
Intro to Improv! - St. Paul Gym
This camp will introduce you to the art of improvisational theater. Instructors from the Brave New Workshop Student Union will bring you through this art form that promotes teamwork, confidence, and creativity to build on the set of skills which will make you a better speaker and leader. Whether you tend to be the one who jumps into the thick of things, or hangs back along the wall, this camp is great for all! No previous experience is required. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. The ocean is full of action, adventure, and discovery. Take a new journey into the marine environment each day by foot, kayak, or SUP. Learn about bait balls, action packed salt ponds and benthic communities by pulling up animal traps and collecting bottom samples. Thrash on waves using boogie boards, go on a kayak excursion, and help choose our snorkel sites. Pick a new travel destination with your class, and decide the route to take us to our destination. Includes: kayaking, boogie boarding, snorkel adventures, playing in the salt pond and the ocean. 860-535-9362
