Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction - Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 - Lewis
On Friday, April 29th, 2016, Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 will be hosting their annual Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction. The event will take place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street - Lewiston, ID) from 6pm-9pm. The cost is $5/person, or $20 for a family of 5. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Royal Family KIDS Camp is a non-profit week-long summer camp for foster children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, etc. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to the children we support. 2016 Leadership Track Program (Ages 15-17) - James Camp @ Mingus Springs
Camp Quest Arizona is a place for fun, friends, and freethought for kids ages 8-17. Our camp provides a traditional sleepaway summer camp experience with a wide range of activities such sports, crafts, games, fishing and campfires*. In addition to our traditional summer camp activities, Camp Quest Arizona offers educational activities focused on critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and comparative religion. Camp Quest Arizona is open to all children and teenagers within the age range, but it is particularly geared towards building a community for children from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families. Our goal is to provide a place where children can explore their developing worldviews, ask questions, and make friends in an environment that is supportive of critical thinking and skepticism. Campers aged 8-14 participate in our standard camp program. Campers agent 15-17 participate in the Leadership Track (LT) - a program designed to cultivate leadership skills. Ranch Camp - Camp Tomah Shinga
This program is designed for not just those who love horses, but also for campers who would like an introduction to horses. Campers will learn the basics of horse care and horsemanship in a positive and encouraging environment. By helping care for the horses, campers will get a chance to truly care for Gods great creation. Along with riding horses, campers will enjoy all of the traditional camp programs. Camp Catapult Thursday - Newtons Attic
Siege Alert! Look out, its time for ying tennis balls, eggs and bags of Jell-O as this camp offers participants the opportunity to design and build a table top size catapult or trebuchet. Students start with a kit of wood, steel, aluminum and plastic parts and create their catapult. When students nish theirinventions, they eld test them in a fun and exciting activity. This is a single, full day version of Camp Catapult. It should be registered for once during Spring Break unless the student would like to make a second, different catapult on Tuesday. Other single day classes include Rube Goldberg Machines (9 and older) and Da Vinci Kids (6 to 9). 859-368-7334
