MAS Youth Summer Camp! August 7th-9th - Junction City, KS
WHEN IS THE CAMP? The camp will, Insha'Allah, be from Friday, August 7th - Sunday, August 9th. WHERE WILL THE CAMP TAKE PLACE? Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 11-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $90 per child by July 24th midnight. After July 24th, the cost will go up to $110/per child. Registration space is limited. WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? For the early registration discount, register by Friday, July 24th. After July 24th, the cost will go up to $110 instead of $90. The last day to register is Friday, July 31st. Registration will close after July 31st or before if all spots have been filled. WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FOR THE CAMP? Yes, as of now, we will have two departing locations: one from ISGKC and the other from ICK. In the registration form is where one can specify where they would like to depart from. Teen MMA Summer Camp at GCBJJ - Grove City, OH
GCBJJ will be hosting an MMA camp for teens (age 13-17). This camp will cover all aspects of MMA including: Boxing, Muay Thai kickboxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Conditioning. No experience necessary. Cost is $125 per teen. Only equipment they will need is a mouthpiece. We will provide all other equipment. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a couple extra changes of clothes. The participants can pack a lunch (we have a fridge and a microwave, or there are three pizza places, Arby's and Subway that are all within walking distance.
Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 2) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Things like balance and stability will also be trained within the 5 day period.
