Keeping the Music Going
We worked hard to get our son interested in music and didn't want him to give up. That's why the idea of a fiddle camp was such a hoot! Not only did he get to practice his flute throughout the summer but he also picked up a few other instruments. Happy to report he is signing up for band! 2017 SP Youth Camp - Tyler, TX
For our 2017 youth camping trip we will be going to Tyler tx , we will have two or three shelters to stay in. This year's theme will be Deep waters , and deeply rooted. There will be different rules this year and alot more fun , God is preparing something amazing for us this year. I'll have the packs ready to go by the beginning of February. Volunteers are welcome please inform me by May 10th if you wish to help out. All donations are welcome at anytime , or come to one of our fundraiser to pitch in. We will need prayers so please be in prayer about the youth and what God has in store for us!!
Christmas Kid Camp - Adairsville, GA
Parents, need more time to prepare for Santa's arrival? December 12th from 1-6 p.m. the AHS Drama Department will be hosting a day for kids filled with games, snacks, crafts, and more! All kids between the ages of 4-13 are welcome to attend! Preregistration is $25 or it's $30 at the door, with an additional $10 per kid. SoCal PK Retreat / March 4-5, 2016 This is a retreat specifically put together for the children of UPC Pastors and Ministers in the Southern California District. We will stay in Idyllwild with great activities, food, and most importantly, ministry sessions where we will hear from God. Everything will be designed with the PK in mind. Speaker: Andrew Cox, Louisiana District Youth President Ages are 12-21. Price is only $95 (includes 1 night of lodging and all meals)

Voyage with us from Sea to Shining Sea as we create art in a wide variety of mediums that are sure to capture the creativity of every child. We will explore seascapes, ocean life, lighthouses, and more while learning from masters in art such as Edward Hopper, Winslow Homer and Henri Matisse! Catch a wave with us into visual arts looking below the ocean surface in a submarine, and taking a walk along the sandy beach picking up sea shells. We will explore oil pastels, watercolor techniques, acrylic paint, paper collage, origami and more! Join us this spring to expand your artistic skills as we sail the open seas! Your childs week will be split between nature activities like wilderness survival classes, orienteering, GPS skills, and other nature lessons AND outdoor recreation like hiking, caving, water sports (canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding) and indoor rock climbing. Marlena Vendemia - Bio Marlena Vendemia worked in the corporate fitness setting before earning her M.S. in Exercise Physiology from The Pennsylvania State University. She currently holds a position as a Penn State fitness instructor working with pregnant women as part of the Healthy Moms Research Study. Most recently, Marlena earned her 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification. She found her yoga practice as a stay at home mother to her two small children. Marlena was drawn to pursue this certification due to the benefits she found through her own yoga practice. Her yoga practice has allowed her to find space, connection and possibility through the physical experience, things she hopes to help other students find as well. Her goal is to bring classes filled with truth, authenticity, love and fun to the State College community. In addition to teaching yoga at The PYP Studio, State College, Marlena also serves on the school board for Our Lady of Victory Preschool and on the advisory board for Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, University Park Campus.
