Instructors: Finan & Cusick Get ready to build, invent and reinvent in our Innovation Lab. You will learn how the art of tinkering brings STEM projects to a whole new level of fun and inspiration. Whether you are a girl or a boy, into science, art, building or being creative in any way, this is the class for you. You will look at existing inventions with an eye for how you can improve them or invent something else altogether. You will have the option of choosing from projects such as: Fuse-your-own Fabrics, Slingshot Car Launcher, Wood-Crafted Wonders, Toppling Towers, Remote Release Zip Line Alarm Clock and that is just to name a few. Annual Camping & Kid Fish Event in the Park - W.m. Brook Park
The annual camping and kid fish event will be held on June 5-6, 2015 at W. M. Brook Park. Registration will be held on Friday, June 5th at 6pm followed by a hot dog supper, movie in the park (The Goonies) , and campfire fun. Participants can then go camping or fishing. Kid fishing will occur through Saturday, June 6th until 12pm. Awards and presentations will be given out from 12-1pm. For more information, contact Micky Tower at 512-734-1076.

Join Miami Dolphins Linebacker Jelani Jenkins and 10 NFL players for #TheUltimateFootballCamp! This is a non-padded, light contact camp, aimed to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. Campers will be coached by the Good Counsel football staff and numerous NFL and Division I football players. Both days will conclude with 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 scrimmages. Camp highlights include a Parents Seminar to review early onset strategies to help your child reach and succeed at the next level. There will be musical entertainment, awards, guest speakers, and numerous photo opportunities!

This will be a more laid-back approach to Camp, to introduce these Campers to the magic of Camp Kirby. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library.
