Fish and Explore will transport campers daily to lakes, rivers and other local waterways. Everyone will catch fish. Campers will be taught the basics of fishing from casting and rigging, to knot tying, to selecting tackle and lures and identifying fish. Advanced lessons on watercraft identification, reading the water, targeting specific species of fish and river navigation are also available. Students will fish different types of water: public and private lakes, reservoirs, ponds, rivers, streams, and creeks over the course of the week. All skill levels of anglers are welcome. It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! Join us as the weather cools a bit for all the fall festivities, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Great Pumpkin. Teen Cooking Camp: Session 1 - Rochester, MN
Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. Classes will be held every Thursday 11:00 – 12:30pm for five weeks starting July 14th. July 14th: Knife skills and cooking basics: chef salads Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class OR $100 for entire 5-week series, due on date of registration. Registration required at least 72 hours prior to scheduled class.
