Get your kids away from the TV, computer, and video games. This summer the YMCA wants to help your child discover the FUN OF FITNESS! Class Description Sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, pickle ball and other fun fitness games every day! Strength training activities with a certified personal trainer! Fun lessons on health and nutrition with a registered dietitian! Wednesday field trip to Camp Cha-La-Kee from 9am-5p to participate in traditional fun outdoor activities such as: Canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and having fun on the Blob (picture attached)! 2. Session II - Morning - UA College of Fine Arts
Visual Arts: From the homeland to the battlefront, art was used during WWII to promote duty and patriotism, capture historical moments and even as tactical strategy. Youll be stepping into the boots of the wartime poster artists behind the iconic Uncle Sam I Want YOU and Rosie the Riveter designs, combat artists that recorded the war firsthand and abstract artists that developed eye-manipulating military camouflage. Comedy: Abbott & Costello reigned as the 1940s "Kings Of Comedy," producing box office hits including "Buck Privates," "Hold That Ghost, and their 1948 monster masterpiece "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein." Their patter routine "Whos on First?" is one of the best-known comedy routines of all time. Recreate an Abott & Costello styled comedy to be filmed and aired before a live audiences during the performance of South Pacific! 5203190400.0

An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Campers (ages 10-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Half-Blood I & II are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees.
