KODA Youth Girls (Ages 13–16) - Camp Mark 7
Camp Mark Seven offers a place where hearing children of Deaf parents could come together to learn about, and better understand the two worlds that they simultaneously live in, and where they could explore, identify, and strengthen their unique C/KODA identities and develop individually as leaders. All of this would occur, ideally, in a recreational camping environment that would foster a lot of interaction and activities for each child and youth. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires. Shopping in Old Forge and Inlet. Campers will create skits for Parents Night; Parents Night is offered at the end of the program, and family members are invited to come and watch their childs skits. Indoor Soccer Boys and girls dont hang up those shin guards up just yet, we have an indoor soccer camp just for you. In this camp we will broaden skills, help develop coordination and have fun each week playing scrimmage games, Because we will be indoors, cleats are not allowed, but shin guards are strongly encouraged. Non-marking TENNIS SHOES ONLY! Camp will be held in the Illini School Gym. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be no class on March 24 LOCATION Illini School Gym INSTRUCTOR Mark Jacus
