Community Boating Center of New Bedford is a great place to send your children to have a safe fun and positive time. Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. This summer Community Boating has Chosen to assign students to their classes. Learn how to knit or take your knitting skills to the next level with hours of instruction and practice in this hands-on camp. Beginning knitters will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and sew their creations together. More advanced knitters will practice reducing and adding stitches while learning about tension and gauge.
