2016 Walk A Kid To Camp (-athon) - Puyallup, WA
The Salvation Army is hosting a walkathon to raise funds to help send children to summer camp. We offer several camp sessions lasting from three to eight days for children of various ages. Your child will be supervised by caring on-site counselors.There are three types of camping experiences for children ranging in age from six to sixteen which include; residential camps, day camps and teen wilderness camps. We need help raising the funds to supporting sending children to camp. Join us June 4 and help us send children to summer camp.

We will be distributing Blessing bags to the less fortunate at Fairmount Park in Riverside California. What would the Blessing Bags consist of? - Hygiene Products (no mouthwash) - Water Bottle - First Aid materials (no sharp objects) - Baby wipes - Wash cloth - Chapstick - Sunscreen - Nonperishable food items Who is responsible for providing blessing bags? Each student is encouraged to bring a blessing bag with them. You can trade in your bag for a Mercy Chronicles t-shirt on Friday night or Saturday morning before we head to the Park. Transportation: There will be a bus available for transportation to the park. Spaces will be available to those who pre-register first.
