Join us for the 2016 Northwestern Boys Soccer Academy End-of-Summer Camp! Get your last chance to enjoy camp before the Fall season begins. Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills with technical training, compete in small sided games, and enjoy the North Shore Lakefront for Beach Soccer an hour every day! Under the supervision of Northwestern University Mens Soccer Staff and Coerver Certified coaches, your young soccer player is sure to have a great time while developing his ability on the field. This camp is recommended for girls ages 8 through 16 years of age. My 13 year old daughter attended Mountain Top Summer Dance Camp. What she liked about it surprised me. She really enjoyed the camaraderie of other girls who shared her passion for dance. At the end of the camp, the girls all held a talent show, and they performed for the parents. If you're between the ages of 12 to 17, please join us at Briercrest Park in La Mesa from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, 9/26/15 AND Sunday 9/27/25 for a jam-packed metaphysical teen camp! We'll be learning grounding & centering techniques, how to shield and much more! The camp is FREE at this time, but a signed parent permission slip is required to participate. Kid's Camp! Picasso Week! - Sherman, TX
Campers, ages 7-13, will explore the artist Vincent Van Gogh all week through paintings and other related activities. They will paint a 16x20 painting each day M-Th, and work on a 24-36 self portrait through the week. The week will end with an art show Friday evening from 5-6pm. Camp: Monday- Friday, 1pm-4pm Art show: Friday 5-6pm
District Youth Fall Retreat - Mount Morris, IL
Save the date - We will be staying at the retreat lodge (and log cabin if needed) for our fall retreat. Fellowship with other youth in the district, interesting sessions, and an opportunity to help the camp out by raking leaves at the district wide leaf raking service project (Saturday starting at 8 am). Explore the world of musical theatre with heroes who save the day and villains whose perfect plans of tyranny seem to always get thwarted. Join the talented TCT staff as we use musical theatre activities, games and fun to create the world of Heroes and Villains. Which side will you be on? Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class each day. Please provide your child with lunch for each day. You may sign up your child for all 3 weeks. Skyhawks Flag Football - Redwood City Fields
Skyhawks Flag Football is the perfect introduction to America?s Game, or a great refresher to those who want to brush up on their skills preparing for league play. Through our skill of the day exercises, campers will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all presented in a fun and positive environment. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron! All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and a player evaluation. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 12:1. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants should wear appropriate clothing, running shoes, bring two snacks, and a water bottle. Please apply sunscreen prior to arrival at camp. Also, please send snacks and adequate supplies of water. Only adults on approved check-out list will be permitted to pick up camper at the end of the day. Chess Academy during camp week #3: June 27 - July 1 - Germantown Friends School
National-championship coach Ross Colby will be offering two weeks of intensive chess instruction at Germantown Friends School. Ross has either played on or coached teams that have won national championships in Arizona, North Carolina, & Pennsylvania! Players at this years camp will participate in intensive strategy sessions, tournament games, daily award ceremonies, simultaneous exhibitions, and a speed tournament. At the end of the five-day camp, participants will enjoy a pizza fest and final awards ceremony. Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of June 27 - July 1. 215-951-2384

The camp will explore subjects such as behavior, biology, science of flight, birds? jobs in nature, diet, husbandry, and the importance of conservation and biodiversity. Under close adult supervision there will be hands on interaction with real, live birds. Each day one or two different birds will visit camp. Camp will include education, scrapbook making, crafts, feedings and creative play. Please send a healthy snack with your child each day.
